New Change

I have been slowly switching from having and maintaining two blogs to one. Life is hectic and I would rather fully devote time to one good blog than two mediocre ones. Please please come see my other blog it's basically the same thing but I also talk about my son Maxwell and my husband. I hope to see you there soon!

Nap Mat

This afternoon while was Max was napping I finished a project that I started last month. I wanted something that I could take when we go out of town and wouldn't have to lug around his pack and play. I was surprised but I also had enough time put together something to hold my business cards. Here are the end results...

Life is crazy, but there is always time to make something!

Life has been busy but I have still had time for a little crafting. A friend of mine from work is having a little girl and another friend is having a little boy so I am trying to think of some cute kid things. Here is a little of what I have been up to...

Wow, it's been a while!

Talk about falling off the face of the earth! Sorry about the delay but seeing as how I don't really know if anyone reads this I doubt to many people are bummed. Here are a few things that I have been up to since my hiatus.

Couple New Things

Here are a pair of beaded bobby pins that I made. I didn't realize that it would be more time consuming to make a pair of bobby pins than it is to make a bow. I'll make a few more pairs but don't expect to see to many any time soon.

Over my last days off I learned how to make korker bows. really fun and pretty cute if I do say so. I'm planning on making a really big korker bow with tones of colors next.

The paci clip took some patience at first and I'm still fine tuning the exact design of it. I do like how I added the name. I think it would be especially convenient for kids in Sunday school, daycare or mother's day out.

Toddler place mat, perfect for going out to dinner or friends and family's homes. The place mat seals with a Velcro closure. The mat rolls up and can be taken on the go in a purse or diaper bag. The mat easily wipes off and makes for easy clean up. I think instead of using Velcro next time I will use ribbon.

In the spirit of going green I'm using the same basic idea and instead of a rectangle it will be a square. It will make a "green" way of packing lunches instead of using a Ziploc bag. I'll post more once I get that one done. As usual until next time.

Here we go again.

I have officially decided that I am going to make a matching bow to go with all tutu purchases. It will math the ribbon on the tutu and for smaller tutu's the bow will also be smaller. I have had several ideas lately but I don't seem to have the time to follow through on my ideas. I am attempting to make corker bows today but Max keeps trying to eat my supplies so we will see how this goes. Max has also been sick meaning that I don't have much time to work on crafts. Here are a few things that I have made though for your viewing pleasure. Also don't forget to follow the link on the left to see my etsy to purchase items. Until next time...
